The crisis in our educational system is not due to a lack of information. Certainly we are possessed of more information than at any other time in history.
It is probably not fundamentally due to the commodification of this information either, though that is a symtom that someting has gone wrong.
Rather, the education crisis has its roots in the existential crisis of our society.
To remedy this, Leon's Landslide proposes the life of Leon himself, and his deed of love.
The essence of Leon's teaching is not political but personal.
His greatest deed of love is the gift of his own life to save the life of Matilda.
Admittedly, Leon is not a stereotypical academic mentor. But our world would be a safer and happier place if we all learned his lesson, which is more important than any particular field of study, because it affirms life itself.
A parhelion is a phenomenon where the sun appears as three suns. If we stand in the light of someone who loves like Leon long enough, we can hope to beocme a Leon ourselves.
Whoever you are, wherever you are, whatever you want to study, you have a home here under the mentorship of Leon, and you are loved.
Not for this will the scholarship be in any way diminished.
At the present time, the Parhelion Project is only an online educational resource, not yet accredited by any government institution but the level of scholarship is quite solid.
A student who wished could build their own plan of studies here from the ground up all the way thruogh university and emerge quite educated from the experience.
