WILDWOOD LITERATURE DEPARTMENT

AMERICAN LITERATURE ENGLISH LITERATURE FRENCH LITERATURE RUSSIAN LITERATURE

Reading the works of various peoples is in some senses an outline of their histories told from a more openly personal and poetic point of view.
The old idea that literature is too biased to be history has been replaced by the acknowledgement that no historian is without bias.
Those who wish to participate in the Wildwood Curriculum are invited to be familiar with the context in which works of literature were produced.
